The programme focuses on the usability of Information Technology (IT) systems. It provides all the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully work with all types of usability-related matters for IT systems, from requirements and work analyses to interaction design, evaluation and implementation. It is an education where you will learn about the most recent theoretical advances as well as acquiring practical skills through our focus on project work.
Digital Media and Society
Digital Media & Society, a specialization within the Master’s Programme in the Social Sciences, offers students advanced tools to understand and analyze how digital media are shaping and being shaped by the economy, politics, and culture in contemporary society. The programme prepares students for work as digital media/Internet researchers or digital media professionals. The programme also offers a solid foundation and preparation for doctoral research in the area of digital media and society. It furthermore offers advanced knowledge that prepares students for a career as knowledge and digital media professionals.It teaches creative and critical thinking capacities that are needed for students in their future career and for becoming individuals who seek to actively contribute to shaping and creating a good society.
