Communication is a dynamic process that plays a complex role in shaping both individuals and society. Different University programs of Communication and Media (or similar) seek to promote an understanding of this process and focus on how people create and use messages to generate meanings within and across various contexts, cultures, channels and media, including those delivered through technology. The courses in this major help students to understand communication and media practices and adapt new technologies.
