Survey Methodology
Survey methodology is a part of science that deals with survey researches and how data are collected. It is a specific field of science, closely connected with many other sciences, because it provides them with survey data. Survey methodology includes, but is not limited to mail questionnaires, telephone interviews, personal interviews and group questionnaires that seek to collect data from any population or sample of individuals.
Survey methodologists are interested in statistics and on the other hand in human and social behavior. They need skills to design and conduct survey, statistically analyze survey results, write reports and make public presentation of survey findings.
